Founded on ethical and sustainable principles, Blauvent by Carmesine makes wallets, totes, belts, and other accessories from retired paraglider wings. While the Spain-based label designed its wares “for paraglider pilots, by paraglider pilots,” we think anyone could rock the gear, even if their feet remain firmly planted on terra firma. Blauvent (which means “blue wind” in Catalan) constructs each piece in a local, small-scale facility using different sections of the upcycled material, so no two are the same. Lightweight, durable, and water-resistant, these accoutrements make a soaring statement above or below.
